Kaylyn Bussard
I work collaboratively with clients to identify areas in their lives that are not working for them and work together to come up with a plan to improve those areas. I use an eclectic approach to treatment with interventions from CBT, DBT, and somatic therapy.
Clinical Interests and Areas of Expertise: Interest in working with the LGBTQ+ population, whether teens, or adults who are exploring their identities, coping with coming out, or navigating life as a member of the community. Kaylyn works with children (10+).
Theoretical Orientation: An eclectic approach to therapy, with foundations in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing
Personal Interests: Kaylyn enjoys knitting, crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her cats, or volunteering at animal shelters.
