Kate is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over seven years of experience collaborating with clients to process trauma and maladaptive beliefs, improve interpersonal effectiveness, communication, boundaries, and attachments, decrease compulsive behaviors and substance use, cope with symptoms of anxiety, rage, grief, sleep disturbance, dissociation, and depression, and strengthen self-efficacy in order to work toward meaningful life goals. She states, “My ideal model for the therapeutic relationship is, when your grandma bakes a plate of warm cookies and sits at the kitchen table with you and you can just spill your guts. I hope to bring that level of compassion and unconditional positive regard to my professional life.”
